Job summary
Lead global business growth, develop new partnerships, manage a team of BD Executives, and drive consistent revenue through strong client relationships across international markets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for pharmaceutical exports in global markets.
- Conduct market research to identify new territories, potential clients, and pricing trends.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and healthcare partners.
- Achieve sales and market expansion targets; handle inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and closures.
- Coordinate with regulatory, logistics, production, and finance for smooth order execution.
- Develop and implement region-wise business strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual meetings.
- Prepare periodic reports on registration tracking, sales performance, and team productivity.
Skills & qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Management (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years in international BD or export marketing within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong understanding of pharma regulations, export documentation, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, capable of managing multiple markets simultaneously.
